Hello, readers. Thanks for playing along and having fun with The Twizzy. Here are the results for Game 13.
This week everyone seemed to figure out early on that it was a baseball writer. Well done! However, I only had 2 correct answers. I’m so terribly excited to announce that they’re my 2 hardcore participants, too. Nearly every day (Monday-Friday) these 2 friends submit a guess – for 13 weeks now! I’m delighted that they were both right. Unfortunately, 1 beat out the other. (They can continue to harass each other on my Facebook wall!) The loser is my closest childhood friend. Mill, you were off, sadly, by 1 day. The winner, this week, was my dear, dear Donna (@dp57). Yes, Donna, you won. CONGRATULATIONS. Now please stop threatening to send me a package full of bugs in the mail! YOU HAVE WON THE TWIZZY. Pick your prize from the following list and let me know your choice in the comments section on this page.
Prizes have once again changed, so heads-up. They now consist of: Seven Souls A Leaping co-written and donated by Kellyann Zuzulo (while supplies last), 1 copy of How to Sew a Button written and donated by Erin Bried, 1 copy of How to Build a Fire written and donated by Erin Bried, macaroons or starry, starry nights from gesine.com, and $15 Barnes & Noble gift e-cards.
So who was the fabulous Twizzy Star of the Week for Game 13?
There was only 1 choice for my #13 spot.
You know him.
You love him.
You’ve read his columns.
The Twizzy Star of the Week for Game 13 was the baseball writer Bob Klapisch. @bobklap Bob writes for The Record in New Jersey and also for Fox Sports. Thanks for playing, Bob! Your answers cracked me up.
Hope everyone had fun. Your guesses, as usual, were funny. Have a great weekend and be back here Monday for The Twizzy – Game 14! And remember, speed counts, follow the rules, and NO, YOU DON’T NEED TO KNOW THE STARS TO PLAY! Guess right away and every day. You might be the next winner.
